HISTORY OF THE FIRM
Palisade Capital Management, L.L.C. was founded in April 1995. Palisade's founding principals have worked together for over 35 years, managing assets for individuals since 1968 and for institutions since 1981.
In 1981, the group established Broad Street Investment Management, a subsidiary of Drexel Burnham Lambert (DBL). In February of 1990, they left DBL and established Whiffletree Capital Management as a separate division of Smith Barney. In keeping with their commitment to provide specialized services to their clients, the group subsequently established Palisade Capital Management, L.L.C., a registered investment advisor.
Palisade currently employs a select staff of seasoned investment professionals and manages approximately $3.9 billion of assets as of April 29, 2013.
